October Plaid

October Plaid

Fall is my favorite time of the year. Growing up in Washington, Fall is the time when the air becomes crisp, chillier evenings, and of course the leaves on the trees become vibrant orange, yellow, and red. Now that I'm living in Los Angeles, fall hasn't arrived as quickly as I would have wanted it to. But, the evenings are starting to become chillier, there's a cooler wind that blows, and some leaves are definitely starting to change despite the 90 degree weather. This season, even if it's going to be warm, I'm embracing every opportunity I can get to celebrate Fall. Wether it's plaid, pumpkins, cinnamon, or anything that feels like it would fit the season, I'm there. So, I'm going to be wearing a lot of plaid and I'm not even sorry for it. Tis the season, right? Sweater weather is the best.

For this look, I'm wearing my new favorite sweater from Splendid. The red, green, and neutrals make it feel like Fall, but it can easily also carry into the holiday season. Secondly, velvet is another favorite Fall trend. This velvet miniskirt is from & Other Stories. The decorated gold zipper on the front adds fun flare to the velvet texture.

Is anyone else just as excited as I am for this season? What's your favorite part of Fall? What's your favorite thing to do in October?
