SUMMER ESCAPE

SUMMER ESCAPE

Summer is over half way through... how is that possible. I don't know about you, but my summer has gone by so incredibly fast. It's almost scary. Also, sorry I've been so MIA recently on my blog and my social channels. My health issues are the reasons why. If you didn't read my previous blog post, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. I wrote all about my health problems I've been battling with recently. A little update- I still have my good and bad days, and I'm still not back to normal. It's going to be a long journey until I start to feel better. Anyways, I don't want to share about all my problems in this post...

Today I'm sharing with you a fun evening that Cory and I spent getting away from the city and up to the mountains! Mount Baker is one of my favorite places in all of the PNW, and during the summer months it's most beautiful (in my opinion). Once you get to the top, there's a road you can drive up that leads you to this magical place called Artist point. It's closed during the winter months because of how much snow it accumulates. During the summer months, they open the road and it is so gorgeous! It reminds me of Yosemite and Switzerland in one. It was also the first time I had seen snow since February (honestly, it was still too soon haha). I can't wait to go back up in a few weeks when all the snow is gone and you can actually walk around Artist Point. If you get the chance to spend any time in the PNW during the summer, I highly recommend checking out this spot.

We spent the evening driving around, and of course I brought three outfits to shoot while we were up there. Scroll down to view all the photos from our little summer escape!
