YAY! I'm so incredibly happy it's spring. This last Seattle winter was brutal, and so ready for warmer weather. Bring on the shorts, lightweight jackets, and sunshine.
A year ago, if you would have told me that in the future I would own something pink.. I would think you were crazy. I'm a fan of neutrals and reds. I'm usually not a huge fan of pink, but here you go. I'm IN LOVE with anything blush. Red took over fall and winter and still is a popular color for the season. But blush is the new red, and you'll be seeing the color everywhere this spring and summer.
Some of you know that I love to go thrifting and vintage pieces. There's something about finding treasures that no one else has. About a month ago, I was at my favorite secret thrift store and I found this INCREDIBLE pink tweed jacket. It came with this pink long pencil skirt, but I'm not a fan of knee length skirts on me. Maybe I'll hem it to make it shorter? Not sure yet but I'm in love with this jacket. It reminds me of a Gucci or Chanel jacket. It has white pearl buttons with gold details. It's so gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it with other pieces this spring. It goes perfectly with the pink crabapple and cherry blossoms here in Washington!
With the jacket, I'm wearing nude/blush patent leather loafers from Sézane, a blush suede bag from Sézane, a 90's short sleeve turtleneck sweater I thrifted, and some trousers by Aritzia.
