Basics for the holidays

Preparing for the holidays can be stressful, especially when it comes to packing and preparing your outfits for parties and events. I'm leaving for Seattle on Friday, and I can't wait to head back! But for some reason, packing different pieces to wear for the holiday stresses me out because there are so many different things happening- Christmas parties, New Years Eve, spending time at the cabin, etc. One of the things I've learned about packing is to bring pieces that are versatile and you can wear with a lot of different looks or for different daily activities. All of these pieces are perfect for traveling because they are versatile and you can dress up or down, or wear them casually. I also have a thing with wrinkles... if it's something that wrinkles easily, I won't wear it or pack it. There's something about pulling out a piece from a suite case and it looks perfect that's so satisfying. Anyone else the same way? These pieces look flawless when they come out of the suite case which is why they're the perfect travel pieces.

The sweater from Aritzia is one of my go-to's and can be worn with almost anything- I'm obsessed. The leather skirt from n:Philanthropy is high wasted and pair well with tights and a dressier top, and effortlessly makes a look more chic. The Marc Fisher pumps can be worn with anything, and are comfortable enough to wear all day. And the Chloe bag is my go-to for everyday.

Make sure to shop the look below!
