This day was perfect.
I've known Amanda for as long as I can remember... honestly. She's one of my oldest friends that's not a cousin or sibling. We've known each other since we were four, and have gone through so much together. From being in kindergarten, to summer camp, making up dance routines together, school plays, driving around in my old Honda accord, spending after school and weekends at her house, getting in trouble together, playing hours of guitar hero, marching band, Mexico mission trips, hanging out with our unique and giant group of friends at her house, her ford focus, high school in general, and SO MUCH MORE. We were inseparable growing up. Like most of our group of girls, we were the youngest with older brothers. And our brothers were friends. So we all hung out, pretty much every day. It was the best situation and I feel blessed to have a friend like her. We've been through ups and downs, cried a lot together, laughed until we nearly died, and sometimes fought like actual siblings. She's the best. I could go on forever but I'll save that for another time.
ANWAYS. She met Alex a couple years ago, and I'm so happy that she found her match. They're an incredible couple, and I feel honored that I got to photograph their engagement photos. For this engagement shoot, we went up to Anacortes, WA and spent the day at some amazing locations. The day was beautiful, and we got some of the best lighting.
I can't wait for their big day!
