Hi! Today is the day- I get to share with you some of the many, beautiful moments from our wedding day. I can't even begin to explain how magical this day was. Weddings are always magical, but this day in particular felt like a dream. We had our talented friend Benj Haisch shoot our wedding. Definitely check out his work! Every image is beautiful. Cory and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture our special day. Also, we had our friend Justin shoot our wedding video. Can't wait to share that soon!
Cory and I got married at our favorite place in Washington; Lake Cushman. This place is special and dear to us for many reasons. Where we had our wedding, I grew up going camping there almost every summer with family friends. Later on in life my parents bought property at the lake, and then eventually bought a cabin. We have spent many summers with friends at our place, and it has created lots of lifelong memories. The place we used to go camping every summer, was the place we got married. Also, it was the first place Cory told me he loved me *awh*.
My parents are INSANE and so freaking talented. Lots of hard work went into this wedding, and it wouldn't have been possible with out them. So dad and mom, we love you and thank you so much. Here are some of the images starting from the beginning of the day. I'm the kind of person that likes to set the mood. So feel free to play this song- it was played during our wedding.
Okay. So my dad is someone you would call "a handy man". So much so, we call him "Bob the Builder" because he builds things, and his name is Bob. How appropriate. Haha. Anyways, over the last year he has been collecting scraps of driftwood and scraps from trees to make the decor for our wedding. Him and my mom hand made 300 BEAUTIFUL coasters for the guest to take home. Then he didn't think that was enough, so he built six different tables made from driftwood, the beautiful chandeliers, a mic stand, tables for the speakers, a cake stand, each table centerpiece, the flower arbor, and the whole wood structure for the dinner area. I honestly don't know how they did it, but they did. And it was beautiful.
So many photos. Benj did an amazing job capturing our special day! And I'm excited to share the video soon as well!
